Attention
The right sidebar tab that gathers what is waiting for you: permission requests, reviews to approve, failures, and the agent in another project that stopped.
Updated for PrumoGrid 0.5.11
What it's for
The Attention tab, in the right sidebar, lists what needs an answer from you in the selected project: an agent asking permission to run a command, a stage waiting for your approval, a verification that failed. The number next to the tab name counts these items. When an agent in another open project stops and waits for you, the last line of the list tells you, and one click takes you there. With several agents working, this is where you find out where it is your turn, without checking terminal after terminal.

When to use it and when not to
Look at Attention whenever the counter shows up, or when the status bar shows 1 waiting. It is there so you can answer quickly and go back to what you were doing.
Attention does not replace reading the terminal. To talk to the agent, explain a request better, or understand why it wants to run a command, use Go to terminal. To follow the progress of stages, use the Stages tab or the Flow.
Step by step
Answer a permission request
The analyst in loja-api reads the coupon and wants to write ANALISE.md. Claude Code stops and asks whether it may run the command.
- Notice the signals: the agent's pane changes its label, the
loja-apicard shows waiting for you, the Attention tab gets the counter, and the status bar shows1 waiting. - In the Attention tab, click See request. In the Stages tab, the same button sits on the stage's line, next to Open terminal.
- In the Permission request dialog, check Terminal, Project and Stage. The Request field shows the block of the current request, such as the title and the command the agent wants to run. Below it come the last lines of the terminal.
- Answer with Allow or Deny. See in Flow shows the stage in the Flow, and Open the Inspector shows what PrumoGrid is reading from the screen. The notice confirms: "Allowed. The agent continues." or "Denied. The agent was told."
- If you prefer to answer in the CLI itself, for example to pick an option the dialog does not offer, click Go to terminal.
When the terminal shows the answer and the project card no longer says waiting for you, the request is resolved.
Attend to an agent in another project
You are in loja-api with a flow running, and the portal-web agent asked permission to create a file.
- In the Attention tab of
loja-api, the last line says In another project: portal-web is waiting for permission. - Click it. PrumoGrid selects
portal-weband takes you to the terminal that asked, in the Grid or in Focus. The tab stays the same. - Click See request and answer.
- Click the
loja-apicard to go back.
What you see on screen
The same request shows up in four places, and they all count it only once:
| Where | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Pane label | The header of the agent's terminal shows approval?. |
| Project card | waiting for you: the agent asked for permission. |
| Attention tab | The item with See request, and the counter on the tab. |
| Status bar | 1 waiting. Clicking it takes you to the request. |
In the Stages tab, a running stage that stops on a request shows up as needs you, with See request. A stage that is already done whose agent asks for permission again shows waiting for permission instead of done while the request is open; in that state, Continue in this session and View result are hidden.
What else goes into Attention
- Reviews that need approval. In a stage with the With your approval condition, the Review item opens Review delivery. Read the findings and choose Approve and continue or Return for correction…, which sends an adjustment instruction to a terminal. See Stages and results.
- Verifications that failed, with the phrase rejected by the criterion and the Open terminal button. See Verification.
- The notice that an agent finished its turn and nothing checked the work, with Open terminal so you can look at what it did.
The same items appear in the Needs you filter of the Stages tab. That is why the notices say the item shows up in Needs you.
Notifications
Windows notifications are optional. In the right sidebar, click Notifications and check what you want to receive:
- When I am needed: a permission request or an approval waiting.
- When something fails: a stage that failed or a verification that failed.
- When work finishes: a completed stage.
Click Save preferences. The cards, the Attention tab and the history stay in the app with everything turned off. Windows can also silence the notifications, and PrumoGrid does not change the system preferences.
Do not confuse this with End-of-turn notification… in the Tools menu. That notification is how the CLI tells PrumoGrid it has finished answering, and the stages that become done on their own depend on it. Notifications are what PrumoGrid tells you. See Terminals and shells.
Tips
- With several agents working, leaving only When I am needed checked keeps you from missing requests without getting a notification for every completed stage.
- Ctrl+Shift+A moves the keyboard to the active tab of the right sidebar. Clicking the tabs with the mouse does not take focus away from the terminal.
- If the request changed while the dialog was open, PrumoGrid warns "The request changed. Close and reopen it before answering." Close it, open it again, and only then answer.
- Give the project folders short, distinct names. The card name is what shows up in "In another project".
Known limitations
- The request is read from the terminal screen. It is not a fact recorded by the agent, and a screen that does not follow the usual pattern may not be recognized.
- When PrumoGrid cannot reliably recognize the keys for the question, Allow and Deny are turned off and nothing is written. The dialog asks you to answer in the terminal. This happens, for example, when a narrow terminal wraps Codex's option 2 onto two lines.
- A terminal counts one request at a time. The next stage in the same terminal does not inherit the request from the previous one.
- Attention shows the selected project. Items from other projects show up only through the "In another project" line, and only for terminals stopped on a request.
- Answering permissions is always your action. PrumoGrid does not approve requests on its own, not even with broadcast or routines.
