Your terminal is still yours.

PrumoGrid adds space and context to the work you already do in the command line. Start with a grid. Add structure when you need it.

Less window switching.

Follow multiple projects, each with its own folder and terminals. Filter one project or see the whole workspace in All projects. Keep API, frontend and infrastructure work organized.

Pick up where you left off.

In persistent mode, terminals stay active when you close the window. After restarting Windows, resume identified Claude Code and Codex conversations through their CLIs.

An agent response and a passing command are different outcomes. Define a verification criterion and follow its result in the workflow.

Describe what needs to be done.

In New execution, write the task and choose its project and agent. When the result needs to pass a test, enable command verification.

  2. Write the request and check its executor.
  3. Define a verification command when appropriate.

Stop repeating the same specification.

Define shared instructions and choose their scope: one project, all projects or a role. PrumoGrid organizes content in the files supported CLIs read, such as AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md.

  3. Check delivery and whether the agent needs to read it again.

Hand work over to the next step.

Turn a recurring sequence into a routine. One step implements, another reviews and another tests. Choose executors and follow what is running, completed or waiting on a dependency.

  1. In New execution, select Use routine.
  2. Choose a sequence and describe the task.
  3. Review the project and executors before starting.

With an open conversation, use Continue in this session to create another step in the same terminal. The conversation stays in the CLI; model and permissions follow the existing session.

Already have scripts, versioned prompts or your own layer for calling agents? Run your commands in PrumoGrid terminals. Use project organization and add rules and workflows as you need them.

Running your own command remains available. Features such as resuming, notifications and metrics depend on each CLI integration.

CLI options are configurable; empty fields preserve their defaults.

About the author

I’m a software architect with 30 years of experience in enterprise systems, including 18 years at MXM Sistemas, where I currently work as an architect.

I hold an MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data from USP/ICMC, with research into standardized code generation. My focus is applying AI to enterprise systems with governance, security and tangible results, preserving what already works.

I want to make technology more accessible, help train new developers and turn ideas into working solutions.

I tried several tools, but something was always missing.

I usually split a project into smaller projects, and I often work on several projects at once.

I wanted a single place to interact with multiple terminals, orchestrate coding agents in stages, get notified when something needed my attention and track what had already been done. All in one tool.

PrumoGrid grew out of that need, initially as a tool for my own work. Gradually, I turned those needs into specifications, validating and testing ways to bring terminals, projects, agents and pending work into the same workspace. It took about three months of work in my spare time to reach this pre-alpha version.

BUILT WITH THREE CONTRIBUTORS

Me, Claude Code and Codex.

I also wanted to see what it would take to build a technical tool for programming. In this project, that was only viable with frontier models: with smaller models, the cost of reworking, fixing and reviewing outweighed the benefits.

I focused on specifications, validation and testing. I used Claude Code and Codex in alternating development and adversarial review roles: while one implemented, the other looked for flaws, challenged decisions and examined what could break. Then their roles switched.

Before you install

  • Windows 10 1809+ or Windows 11, 64-bit.
  • Node.js is not required to run the app.
  • For agents, install and authenticate their CLIs. Provider accounts and costs are separate.
  • Git is required for code review and worktree features.

The current installer is licensed under Apache 2.0. You may use it, including commercially, subject to the license terms. It is provided without warranties under those terms. Source code is not available yet. Future publication is planned.

Do I need to use an AI agent?

No. PrumoGrid also works as a terminal grid organized by project. Agents are optional and must be installed and authenticated on your computer.

What happens when I close the window?

In persistent mode, terminals keep running in the local service and reconnect when you reopen. Parts of step coordination need the window to stay open. Restarting Windows stops the processes; resuming a conversation depends on the CLI, account and available history.

Is the source code available?

Source code is not available yet. Future publication is planned, with no announced date. For now, this site offers only the installer, under Apache 2.0.

Does the app run locally?

Yes. PrumoGrid organizes terminals and data on your computer without requiring its own account. Agents and commands you run may use the internet and send data to the services you choose.

How do I install a plugin?

Open Tools → Extensions, install a .prumoplugin file, review its information and permissions, enable it and run its commands. Plugins run code with your account privileges: only install plugins you trust. VS Code/VSIX extensions are not supported.

How do I start after installation?

Open PrumoGrid, click add projects and select a folder. Open a terminal and work as usual. To use a CLI, run its command. When you want to organize tasks, use New execution.

What data does this website collect?

This page includes no forms, trackers, analytics cookies or third-party scripts. Fonts and images are served with the site. Hosting infrastructure may process technical access data, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the service.
